I began skating when I was 7 years old. My best friend was taking skating lessons, so I wanted to as well. I skated at the Polar Dome in Dundee, Illinois, for 2 seasons and was in the big show at the end of each. When we moved to Georgia, I joined Georgia Figure Skating Club and was asked to skate on the synchronized team, Peach Frost. I skated with them for 1 year and then the team disbanded. Most of the kids stopped skating, but I continued skating individually and found my coach that I have now, Mindy Sellers. Ms. Mindy is an awesome coach and has taken me so far!
